Lorde “Lyrical Influences” Video on Vevo

When I realized I had the opportunity to animate the most famed lyrics in music this year, I jumped to the occasion. I had to find a way to keep Lorde’s extremely simple brand of white Futura font, and bring it on in an appealing way to the music. I also composited both titles for “Royals” and “Tennis Court” to the B-Roll backplates shot on location at her interview.
